On Saturday, May 20th, don't miss the Green Saturday Plant Sale and Flea Market from 8 AM - 2 PM at the Monk Botanical Gardens.

Although the stars of the show are the quality perennials, herbs, and vegetables brought in from Morning Glory Farms Greenhouse—the energy comes from the excitement and exhileration of hundreds of attendees scoring amazing gardening finds to take back to their yards!

Not only are there plants and an ecclectic garden flea market, there will also be a variety of vendors, food/refreshments, and music from 89Q.

A unique part of the sale is the Garden Flea Market. We are asking the community to clean out their garages, garden sheds and yards to donate new and clean, gently used garden items. Some examples would be clay pots, yard furniture, garden tools, and garden equipment like rotor tillers, garden art and items that can be repurposed for the garden. **No plastic greenhouse pots please! All donated items are tax deductible and the Monk Botanical Gardens will provide a tax donation receipt upon request.

Items can be dropped off at the following locations:
• Wild Birds Unlimited, 4121 Rib Mountain Dr, Wausau (715) 298-3140
• Ace Hardware, 2606 Schofield Ave, Weston (715) 355-1500
• Marathon Town & County, 1300 W Campus Dr, Wausau (715) 675-1700
• Quality Food IGA, 2900 Rib Mountain Dr, Wausau (715) 848-2793
• Monk Botanical Gardens, 1800 N 1st Ave, Wausau, by the shed inside the gate

If your items are too big to handle or too numerous, our volunteers will pick them up for you. Contact Julie Bollmann at bollmannbozs@aol.com (502) 338-9896 or Lisa Rennie at lisaarennie@gmail.com (715) 574-3290 to schedule a pick up.
